ViroKey® SARS-CoV-2 ID RT-PCR Test
Identification of SARS-CoV-2 Variants
The ViroKey SARS-CoV-2 ID RT-PCR Test is a real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based assay that identifies specific strains and potential high-risk variants of SARS-CoV-2. This assay can be used in conjunction with the ViroKey SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Test v2.0, where positive samples can be further tested to identify if they are possibly one of the Variants of Concern, including the most recent Omicron variant. This allows for more precise data to be obtained for research and monitoring purposes, while ensuring high efficiency with a short turnaround time.
