Responsibilities:
- Writing of technical documentation and manuals for molecular diagnostics equipment, operations procedures, training documentation and other manuals as and when required.
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards with regards to order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
- Gather technical information, prepare document structure and co-ordinate layouts and manual organization.
- Writing of protocols, instructions and specification sheets.
- Edit, standardize and/or make changes to material prepared by researchers or establishment personnel.
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or relevant degree at an accredited college or university. Master degree preferred.
- Not less than 2 years of technical writing experience

Responsibilities:
- Lead the software development team on system software development projects
- Responsible for software development and integration into IVD workflow.
- Oversee the system software development and work closely with quality assurance and regulatory affairs to ensure the newly developed system software meet all regulatory IVD requirements of its target market.
- Interface with R&D technical staff and project teams to develop software requirements.
- Analysis, collation, drafting and producing software requirements across one or more projects, including maintenance software requirements attributes.
- Maintain traceability and coverage of software requirements.
- Provide proactive support and guidance to software developers during product design and development
- Coordination of software verification and validation.
- Documentation of tests meeting all requirements to establish an acceptable Design History File and withstanding the scrutiny of all audits

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant and practical system software development experience in an industrial environment, preferably in-vitro diagnostics.
- Proven track record of successful software customization and development.
- Solid scientific background and strong understanding of statistical concepts, including the bioinformatics required for the analysis and interpretation of scientific data.
- Analytical skills, especially the ability to generate alternative solutions and manage risk by identifying criteria for trade-off decisions and helping to facilitate difficult conversations.

The Marketing Officer will assist in administrative coordination of marketing initiatives for the global marketing department. This role includes planning, organising and implementation of marketing campaigns & initiatives – liaising with vendors and event coordinators, in line with new products launches or campaigns. He or she will be required to coordinate with other regional business leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the global marketing department for all marketing-related activities and preparation of all marketing elements

Responsibilities:
1. Standard costing.
- Compute standard cost of in-house manufactured goods and update into ERP system.
- Partner with Product Management and Procurement Team in determining financial impact due to product cost reductions, new product roll-out, etc. and prepare forecasts to update management on projected results.
2. Overall budgeting process.
- Formulate, implement and maintain the process.
- Prepare Singapore entities annual budget and forecast.
- Review budgets with regional finance team.
- Consolidate total budgets from all Vela Group entities.
- Provide management with analysis of budget / forecast variances.
3. Collation and analysis of monthly / yearly financial results.
- Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year, budget and previous month.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will help the management in its decision-making.
- Evaluate monthly production, material and purchase price variances; and take appropriate actions to eliminate deviations.
4. Identify, investigate and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings, make proposal for operational changes (policies, procedures, processes etc.)
5. Review and assess capital investment requirements of all functional units across Vela Group entities.
6. Perform financial internal audits to ensure compliance with approved accounting standards, legislative and statutory requirements.
